Handling Overwhelm

EFT Routine for Overwhelm

Handling Overwhelm

Yesterday, I shared my recent challenges with time management and how I felt overwhelm whenever I didn’t abide by my own simple system for managing all the tasks that I need to do on a day-to-day basis. After writing the post, it occurred to me that, in addition to writing my list, I could have used another equally effective method for overcoming the feeling of overwhelm.

It was one of those tools that’s available at any time, just about staring you in the face, but you don’t think of it because you’re too busy feeling the overwhelm.

The simple, useful tool that I thought about after writing the post was Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). In fact, I remembered that there’s a wonderful routine by my friend Margaret Lynch dealing with exactly the subject I was writing about yesterday! How’s that for coincidence!

Actually, I don’ t believe in coincidences. There is ALWAYS a reason for everything. Whatever you want to call it, the reminder about Margaret’s EFT routine came at the perfect time and I share it with you should you feel the need to handle overwhelm yourself.

Overwhelm doesn’t have to be caused by physical busyness as was the case for me. Mental overwhelm can be a huge energy drain.

Creative endeavours for instance can be exhausting, as can hours spent in front of the computer learning new software or how to create a WordPress blog :). As much as I’ve enjoyed the experience, nobody who’s been through that learning curve would blame me for THAT overwhelm :).

    Anyaa, you are right.

The learning curve of creating a WordPress blog certainly does qualify for “THAT overwhelm.”

I used your video to help with my overwhelm. Thanks
