Grateful to Share My Empowerment Experiences

Grateful to Share

This is an exciting day for me! I’ve just started this blog and have been busy uploading selected posts from Blogger. It’s been a lot of work, but definitely worthwhile as I am grateful for any opportunity to share my experiences if they will help others to achieve their own empowerment.

I’m not saying that I am fully empowered in every area of my life, but I am certainly aware of my choices and I choose to exercise those choices whenever possible. That’s something we all need to do. Far too many people give their power away to others – to religious leaders, professionals, peers, bosses, spouses, children, etc. You name it, we give our power to them.

I came across a quote recently that said, “Unanswered questions are less dangerous than unquestioned answers.” In my opinion it is so true! We accept the doctor’s diagnosis without question. We¬†believe they know what’s best. But nobody knows our body better than we do and only we can know what’s in our own interest.

We may often have reason to be grateful for modern medicine, but we must empower ourselves to use it only when we believe it’s in our best interests.
