Empowering Quotes #57

Share

When we embark on the process of creating our life the way we wish it to be, we often face challenges because our current life experience is very different to what we envision, but this Empowering Quote (and Abrahams wise words) helps us to remember what we need to bear in mind.

To think according to appearances is easy: To think Truth regardless of appearances is laborious and requires the expenditure of more power than any other work we are called upon to perform.

Abraham - what isWallace D. Wattles is the author of the quote and it comes from his book The Science of Getting Rich which was published in 1910. You can obtain a FREE copy by clicking here.

What Wally and Abraham are pointing out is that you cannot look at your current situation, accept it, and at the same time, create something different. Your vision must ALWAYS be what you are aiming to achieve.

That is one of the biggest obstacles to maifesting your dreams (other than subconscious beliefs which I discussed earlier). We tend to look at our existing circumstances, or ‘what is’ as Abraham often calls it, and rarely spend any time imagining what we wish to create. Even then, we do not approach it with the focus required to change our life.

Wally sums it up very well when he proclaims the difficulty in thinking Truth and ignoring appearances. It’s NOT easy, but the effort is well worthwhile.
